We specialize in bringing together a wide variety of folk art and collectibles from around the globe. We are hunters and gatherers of the beautiful creations of artisans across hemispheres. After all we are named after Tomboctou or Timbucktu (the ancient center of trade)

Back from Tomboctou is located on San Diego’s historic Adams Avenue, right in the heart of Normal Heights. Whether it’s a gift you are looking for, or something to treat yourself with, your experience here will be anything but ordinary.
